SEMENYIH, 13 JUNE 2026 – KHIND today marked a major milestone in its 65th anniversary year with the official opening of its first-ever physical KHIND Rent-to-Own (RTO) Experience Store at Setia EcoHill, Semenyih.
The launch event was officiated by KHIND Group Executive Chairman Mr Cheng Ping Keat, marking the official opening of the first KHIND RTO Experience Store and celebrating KHIND’s growth from a small electrical repair shop in Sekinchan, Selangor, in 1961 into a trusted Malaysian home solutions brand serving households in more than 58 countries.
The opening also marks a significant milestone in KHIND RTO’s journey. Since its launch in 2022 as a digital-first and roadshow-based model, KHIND RTO has served nearly 30,000 Malaysian households. The Semenyih Experience Store now becomes the brand’s first permanent physical touchpoint, offering a more immersive customer experience.
This strategic expansion strengthens KHIND RTO’s presence beyond digital channels, bringing its home appliance ownership solutions closer to local communities while supporting future growth beyond the Klang Valley.
Sharing his thoughts at the event, Mr Cheng Ping Keat said, “KHIND has always been built on one simple belief: to make life easier for every household. The KHIND RTO Experience Store brings this promise into a physical space where families can truly experience how simple home appliance ownership can be.”

Built around its signature tagline “Senang jer, Semua Settle”, the Experience Store is designed as a real home-like environment where customers can explore appliances in practical living setups. Customers can see, touch, and test products while receiving direct consultation from RTO advisors, making the experience more personal and easier to understand.
Customers can also complete the full journey in a single visit, from consultation to sign-up, with delivery and installation arranged directly to their homes.
Each KHIND RTO subscription comes with a complete all-in package designed for peace of mind, including free delivery and installation nationwide, excluding selected islands, full insurance coverage throughout the tenure, and the KHIND Care Plan covering servicing, maintenance, and repairs at no additional cost.
The insurance coverage under KHIND RTO provides protection against unforeseen events including fire, lightning, flood, theft, and accidental damage, subject to applicable terms and conditions, ensuring customers enjoy greater financial security and peace of mind throughout their subscription period.
The product range includes essential home solutions such as laundry appliances including 2-in-1 washer dryers and front load washers, kitchen refrigerators, and air-conditioning units developed in collaboration with Acson. The KHIND RTO Experience Store is located at Lot 49, Jalan EcoHill 1/5B, Setia EcoHill, 43500 Semenyih, Selangor. The store operates daily from 10.00am to 10.00pm.
