KUALA LUMPUR, April 27, 2026 — Senior Political Advisor to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Chairman of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Datuk Seri Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Aziz, participated in a casual yet energetic 6-kilometre run organised by the High Limit Running Club (HLRC) yesterday morning.
The event was held at Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir, where Tengku Zafrul was greeted by familiar faces among the regular runners. Sharing the moment on social media, he wrote: “Yes yes… muka familiar. Ni geng selalu turun, bukan jenis tuang lari.” (Yes yes… familiar faces. This is the gang that always shows up, not the type that bails out.)
The morning run became even more lively with a strong turnout from PKR Pandan members, including the women’s wing and other party supporters. Tengku Zafrul also interacted warmly with sponsor ATF Sport Taping, receiving their merchandise and reciprocating with a TZA-branded shirt.
He concluded the post by expressing hope to meet the group again at the next run, while promoting a healthy lifestyle under the hashtags #GayaHidupSihat and #RoadTo42KM.
This community activity highlights Tengku Zafrul’s commitment to balancing high-level public service with personal wellness and grassroots engagement, as he continues his journey toward completing a full marathon.
