JEDDAH March 2, 2026 – The Consulate General of Malaysia (KJM) in Jeddah has activated its Operations Room starting today, Monday, 2 March 2026, to closely monitor developments from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East affecting Malaysian citizens in Saudi Arabia.
According to an official statement issued today, the KJM Jeddah Operations Room began operations at 9:00 a.m. in response to the conflict sweeping across the Middle East region.
“The Operations Room aims to closely monitor all developments affecting Malaysian citizens in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia, especially those stranded due to flight cancellations,” the statement said.
The Operations Room has been set up specifically to provide consular assistance to any Malaysian who requires help at any time.

The Consulate General also advises all Malaysians in Saudi Arabia to stay alert to the latest developments and to remain calm.
