KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA February 27, 2026 – The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) continues to strengthen its strategic partnership with Shell Malaysia in efforts to engage closely with the community through the Jalinan Kasih Ramadan Programme held at Masjid Bukit Aman here this afternoon.
The programme, organised by the Department of Crime Prevention and Community Safety (JPJKK) in collaboration with the consortium of Shell station operators in the Central Region, serves as a clear manifestation of strategic cooperation aimed at reinforcing local community safety networks.
The event was officiated by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), IG Dato’ Sri Hj. Mohd Khalid Hj. Ismail, and graced by the presence of Deputy IGP, DIG Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, together with Shell Mobility Malaysia General Manager, Puan Seow Lee Ming.
During the ceremony, Dato’ Sri Hj. Mohd Khalid was pleased to present contributions from Shell Malaysia to 100 recipients consisting of police retirees, orphans, children with disabilities and widows of PDRM personnel.
In his speech, Dato’ Sri Hj. Mohd Khalid expressed the highest appreciation to the Shell station operators in the Central Region and Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn. Bhd. for their strong commitment and readiness in ensuring the success of the programme.
He also hoped that the strategic collaboration with Shell would continue in order to further enhance community safety for the well-being of all.
“The strategic collaboration between PDRM and Shell, such as the ‘Go To Safety Point’ initiative, is believed to be able to elevate community safety levels in a more comprehensive and proactive manner, serving as a safe reference centre for members of the public who require immediate assistance,” he said.
Earlier, the Inspector-General of Police had the opportunity to distribute 1,000 packets of bubur lambuk and performed Friday prayers at Masjid Bukit Aman.
Before the event concluded, Puan Seow Lee Ming handed over a mock cheque worth RM3,000 to Dato’ Sri Hj. Mohd Khalid to be channelled to the Masjid Bukit Aman Fund.
Also present were the Director of JPJKK who is also Chairman of the Organising Committee, CP Dato’ Sri Mohd Yusri Hj. Hassan Basri, senior PDRM directors and deputy directors, representatives from Shell Malaysia, and Bukit Aman staff.
This programme is in line with PDRM’s ongoing efforts to strengthen community relations while ensuring public safety remains guaranteed throughout the month of Ramadan.
