Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – May 27, 2025 – Aspiration International Secondary School (AISS) officially launched its charity production ‘Journey to the Best’ at a press conference held earlier today. This highly anticipated student-led showcase will be staged on Saturday, 12 July 2025, at The Platform, Menara KEN TTDI, with two show sessions open to the public.
The press conference was held with five key objectives in mind:
i) To celebrate the dedication and talent of AISS students who have poured their hearts into the production of Journey to the Best.
ii) To raise public awareness about the upcoming charity show and its mission to give back to the community. iii) To encourage wider community support through media engagement, ticket sales, and donations.
iv) To highlight the meaningful causes being supported — the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) and the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM).
v) To provide a platform for public figures, parents, and NGO representatives to share their thoughts on the importance of nurturing creativity, compassion, and social responsibility in students.
The school hopes that by hosting this press conference, it will inspire greater public interest and support — leading to increased ticket sales and wider awareness of the causes we champion
Among the distinguished guests were Dato’ Nurulhidayah Ahmad Zahid, as well as representatives from NASOM and NCSM, whose presence underscored the importance of the cause.
In his welcome address, Mr. Oon Eu Jin, Chairman of AISS, stated:
“‘Journey to the Best’ is more than just a performance. It’s a celebration of growth, friendship, resilience, and courage. We are incredibly proud of our students for taking ownership of this journey—not just on stage, but through their desire to make a positive impact.”
The audience was treated to a student-led sharing session, beginning with heartfelt stories from members of the Performing Arts Society (PAS), followed by a stirring performance by the School Orchestra, and closing with the harmonious voices of the Choir Society. Each segment showcased the students’ creative talents and commitment to social change, truly embodying the spirit of the production.
