RAWANG, MALAYSIA January 1, 2026 – Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Deputy IGP), Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay served as the main speaker in a forum titled “Unity in Security and Blessings” as part of the annual programme of Masjid Saidina Ali, Bukit Sentosa, held on the night of 31 December 2025.
His lecture, moderated by Al-Fadhil Ustaz Hj. Ahmad Hafiz Al-Bakaniyy, was also broadcast live via the official Facebook pages of Masjid Saidina Ali Rawang and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), allowing a wider audience to follow the session.
In his address, Tan Sri Ayob Khan highlighted corruption as a serious threat to integrity, particularly among public servants. He emphasised that PDRM will take stern action against any of its members involved in corruption, as integrity is the key to fully restoring public trust in the nation’s security forces.
In line with PDRM’s slogan “Polis dan Masyarakat Berpisah Tiada” (The Police and the Community are Inseparable), the Deputy IGP also called on the public to leverage modern technology through the **Volunteer Smartphone Patrol (VSP)** system as a rapid channel for reporting information. He stressed the need for a strong symbiotic bond between the community and PDRM to ensure Malaysia remains a peaceful and harmonious nation.
Also present were the Commander of Bukit Sentosa Police Training Centre, Superintendent Md Aruwan Md. Amilah @ Harun, senior and junior officers from the Selangor Police Contingent, as well as members of the local mosque congregation.
Tan Sri Ayob Khan’s speech is seen as part of PDRM’s ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with the community while reinforcing its commitment to integrity and crime prevention at the start of the new year 2026.
