Six-Nation Coalition Endorses Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan, Pushes for Two-State Solution

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA  Sept 29. 2025 – A coalition of Foreign Ministers from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Qatar, and Egypt issued a joint statement on Monday, expressing strong support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s leadership in seeking to end the Gaza war. Released by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the statement highlights the ministers’ confidence in Trump’s ability to chart a path to peace and welcomes his recent proposal to rebuild Gaza, prevent Palestinian displacement, and oppose West Bank annexation.

The ministers emphasized the critical role of regional partnership, aligning with Trump’s plan, which includes a ceasefire, hostage releases, and a comprehensive peace framework. They affirmed their readiness to engage positively and constructively with the United States and other parties, advocating for an agreement that ensures peace, security, and stability across the region.

The coalition reaffirmed a shared commitment to collaborate with the U.S. on a comprehensive deal to end the Gaza conflict. This includes providing sufficient humanitarian aid, preventing Palestinian displacement, securing hostage releases, establishing a security mechanism for all sides, ensuring full Israeli withdrawal, and rebuilding Gaza. The ministers also called for a just peace based on a two-state solution, with a Palestinian state fully integrated into the West Bank in line with international law, seen as key to achieving regional stability and security.

The statement comes amid heightened tensions following a recent U.S.-Israel strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, underscoring the urgency of diplomatic efforts. While the plan enjoys broad support from these nations, its success remains contingent on Hamas’s response and broader international cooperation.
