Experience - Renate Noessler is the Companies’ first female Managing Director

MALAYSIA, KUALALUMPUR – Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) and PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) today announced a leadership transition.
Renate Noessler is the first female to lead VPCM’s business and operations with Co-Managing Director, Kurt Leitner. Together, they will also steer sister company PHSAM, driving the success of the Audi brand in Malaysia, while also expanding Volkswagen’s position in the Malaysian market – with a stronger focus on innovation and customer experience.
Renate brings 30 years of experience in the automotive industry with international experience in sales, marketing, and business consulting. Most recently, she served as General Manager Sales at Audi Singapore, where she was instrumental in driving growth across Southeast Asian markets.
Known for her strong leadership and cross-cultural expertise, Renate said, “I am honoured to take on this role and continue working with customers, dealer partners, the media, and stakeholders in Malaysia. With our growing network at VPCM and PHSAM, we will be focussed on delivering exceptional experiences to our customers. I am confident that both brands will continue to thrive in this ever-evolving landscape.”
Meanwhile, Denyu Bostandzhiev, who helmed VPCM and PHSAM since July 2023 progresses to a leadership role with Porsche Holdings Salzburg (PHS) in Bulgaria. During his tenure in Malaysia, Denyu lead initiatives including the launch of the Volkswagen Touareg, numerous special edition models – and most recently – the introduction of the locally assembled Audi Q7.
