RECOGNISING EXCELLENCE & CELEBRATING ACHIEVEMENTS
Launched in 2022, the Malaysia Developer Awards bring together the pedigree and know-how of FIABCI Malaysia (International Real Estate Federation) with the reach and influence of the country’s leading multi-media platform, the Star Media Group. Established as the benchmark of excellence for developers, its accolades are grouped into the Top-of-the-Chart and Special Awards categories, with the latter evaluating performance in foreign markets, cooperation between partners, outstanding rookies, and purposeful transformation projects.

With participation by invitation only, the Top-of-the-Chart Awards assesses listed players based on quantitative and qualitative attributes. The former component is obtained from Bursa Malaysia based on each developer’s submitted Annual Report, while the latter component requires developers to submit their entries on placemaking ingenuity, creative digitalisation, and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) initiatives. The Top-of-the-Chart Award is divided into two categories, namely, the Top 10 for Market Capitalisation of RM1 billion and above, and the Top 10 for Market Capitalisation below RM1 billion.
