KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 (Bernama) — The Selangor Investment and Industrial Park Expo (SPARK) 2025, one of the flagship components of the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS), makes its highly anticipated return from 8 – 11 October 2025 at Hall 1 & 2, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). This year’s edition, held under the theme “Selangor, Gateway to ASEAN”, reaffirms Selangor’s position as the premier hub for industrial growth, regional connectivity, and sustainable investments.

SPARK 2025 brings together the largest gathering of industrial park developers, investment promotion agencies, industrial property experts, utility providers, financial institutions, logistics players, and government stakeholders from all states in Malaysia and across ASEAN. With over 241 booths, including strong international representation from countries such as Indonesia, Philippines and Timor-Leste the expo is set to showcase the latest industrial estates, special economic zones and investable projects under preview of their respective investment promotion agencies and industrial park developers.
Strong Industry and Statewide Representation
Key exhibitors include NCT Group, Sime Darby Property, EcoWorld Development Group Berhad, Seri Pajam Development, Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd, Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor, Silicon Island Development Sdn Bhd, Sunway Rawang City Sdn Bhd, Cyberview Sdn Bhd and the Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA).
The Central Region Pavilion, anchored by MIDA and joined by Investment Promotion Agencies such as Invest Negeri Sembilan, Invest Melaka, Jabatan Wilayah Persekutuan and Invest Selangor, reflects the strength of inter-state collaboration. Exhibitors from Kedah, Johor, Terengganu, Pahang, Sabah and Sarawak also showcase their industrial potential making SPARK a truly national platform.
Adding to this, 12 local councils from Selangor will also be featured, including MBSA, MBPJ, MBSJ, MBDK, MPKj, MPSp, MPS, MPAJ, MDHS, MDSB, MDKL and MDKS highlighting Selangor’s comprehensive, state-wide industrial ecosystem and facilitation.
Side Programmes: New Launches and High-Impact Conversations
SPARK 2025 will also host impactful side programmes, including the launch of two Invest Selangor White Papers:
- “2025 Selangor Talent Market Report” with Adecco
- “Unlocking Selangor’s Potential as a Global Business Services (GBS) Hub” with Knight Frank and GBS Malaysia
These publications provide strategic insights into talent development and GBS growth, positioning Selangor as a future-ready investment destination. A dedicated panel session will further explore Selangor’s role as a regional hub for cross-border business services, talent exchange, and international collaboration.
Another major highlight is the launch of the Selangor Career Outreach Programme (SCOUT) an initiative by the Selangor State Government to bridge industries and academia, nurturing a new generation of skilled talent while expanding job opportunities across the state.
Adding to the momentum, a special Networking Session – In Conversation with YB Tuan Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport will take place on 9 October 2025, moderated by independent journalist Ms. Tehmina Kaoosji and sponsored by JLL Appraisal & Property Services Sdn. Bhd. This session will focus on:
- Malaysia’s transportation direction in the post-COVID era and the role of federal–state collaboration,
- Major infrastructure and logistics initiatives enhancing ASEAN connectivity,
- Future mobility and industrial strategies aligned with Selangor’s investment and ASEAN’s integration agenda.
Proven Impact: Driving Billions in Trade Value
“SPARK is more than an exhibition, it is a catalyst for partnerships, investments, and future industrial growth,” said Dato’ Hasan Azhari, CEO of Invest Selangor Berhad. “Building on the momentum from SPARK 2024, which attracted 20 industrial parks and 15 investment agencies and generated potential transactions valued at RM12.2 billion, surpassing the RM7 billion target for SIBS 2024. Similarly, SPARK 2023 contributed RM4.6 billion in negotiated transactions to SIBS 2023’s total of RM6.12 billion.”
With this strong track record, SPARK 2025 which is open to both trade visitors and to the public is expected to deliver even greater outcomes, reinforcing Selangor’s role as the gateway to ASEAN.
