KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia June 24, 2025 – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei is reported to be in improving health following recent medical treatment in Malaysia, according to Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
In a recent conversation with the Sultan, Anwar noted that His Majesty’s condition is steadily improving under close monitoring by a dedicated medical team, including healthcare professionals from Malaysia. The Sultan expressed deep gratitude for the exceptional care and dedication shown by the Malaysian medical team involved in his treatment.
The discussion also touched on the strong bilateral ties between Malaysia and Brunei, which continue to flourish, as well as positive developments in regional ASEAN issues, which are progressing smoothly and constructively.
Anwar extended his prayers for the continued health and well-being of His Majesty and the Brunei Royal Family, wishing them divine protection and prosperity.
