In Asia, over 6 in 10 individuals are at high risk for mental health challenges, while 1 in 6 children face mental health issues (NHMS, 2023). Digital dependency adds fuel to the fire, with heavy screen use linked to anxiety, depression, and social isolation. According to the WHO World Mental Health Surveys, over 75% of people in low to middle-income countries don’t receive the mental health care they need. OFFLINE 16 aims to raise awareness by making preventive mental wellness simple, practical, and accessible through real-world experiences that encourage people to unplug, reconnect, and build healthy habits.
OFFLINE 16 continues to prove that sometimes, the most powerful act of self-care is to simply switch off and be present in the moment.
