SEBERANG JAYA, Malaysia, July 19, 2025 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim today expressed profound gratitude and optimism at the launch of the Rumah Bakat MADANI project by SkyWorld, describing it as a groundbreaking model for modern, inclusive public housing in Malaysia. The project, leveraging modular construction and rapid execution, embodies technological efficiency, social responsibility, and the MADANI principles of unity and progress.

Speaking at the event, Anwar emphasized that the initiative goes beyond merely providing shelter. “This development must champion inclusivity, ensuring communities of all ethnicities—Malay, Chinese, Indian, Kadazan, Iban, and beyond—feel valued and have access to dignified living spaces,” he said. He reaffirmed his commitment as Prime Minister to uphold fairness for all Malaysians, stressing that diversity must be respected in every government-approved project.
Addressing rising racial tensions and divisive narratives, Anwar condemned those spreading fear and hatred, describing their “siege mentality” tactics as irresponsible and lacking substance. “We must return to the MADANI ideals—clean, progressive, and holistic—to counter slander and racism,” he urged, calling for unity to overcome divisive rhetoric.
The Prime Minister also challenged government agencies to prioritize efficiency, citing the MADANI project’s success as proof that commitment can deliver results swiftly without compromising quality. “If a project can be completed in two months, why wait eight?” he questioned, advocating for agility and immediate benefits for the people.
The Rumah Bakat MADANI project is poised to set a new standard for public housing, blending innovation with inclusivity to foster a shared Malaysian future.
