TERENGGANU, Malaysia, June 29, 2025 – Lance Corporal Muhammad Amirul Aiman bin Muhammad Othman, a traffic police officer, tragically lost his life in an accident during Ops Samseng Jalanan in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, who visited the late officer’s in-law’s family home before heading back, shared that the incident occurred while Muhammad Amirul was pursuing a motorbike performing dangerous stunts. The officer’s motorcycle skidded on a wet and slippery road, leading to the fatal crash.
“Muhammad Amirul fell while carrying out his duty, a profound sacrifice that speaks volumes for the nation and its people, even if it goes unsung,” said Saifuddin in a heartfelt statement.
Expressing his condolences, the minister conveyed deep sympathy to the officer’s family, acknowledging that no words could fully ease their loss. “Know that this sacrifice will not be forgotten. Those who perish in the line of duty live on in the nation’s memory,” he added.
Saifuddin prayed for Muhammad Amirul’s soul to be placed among the martyrs and for strength and resilience for the grieving family.
The late officer’s dedication and ultimate sacrifice have left an indelible mark on the nation, as authorities continue to honor his service.
