KULIM, June 1, 2025 – In preparation for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidiladha, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail visited Kedah to officiate the symbolic handover of sacrificial cows during the Ziarah Kasih Madani programme at Surau Al Falah, Kampung Pondok Labu Keladi, Kulim.
A total of 34 cows will be distributed in the Padang Serai parliamentary constituency and an additional 11 in Kulim Bandar Baharu to support local Hari Raya Aidiladha preparations. During the event, the Minister also presented sacrificial meat packages and food baskets to several underprivileged families in the area.
“May these contributions benefit the local community and foster the spirit of sacrifice and unity during this blessed celebration,” said Datuk Seri Saifuddin. He expressed gratitude to Dato’ Haji Zepri bin Saad, Director of the Kedah Federal Development Office (ICU JPM), for leading the event, and commended the imam and Surau Al Falah committee for their full cooperation in hosting the programme.
“Though our efforts may seem small, I pray they hold great value in the eyes of Allah SWT and become a source of lasting blessings,” he added.
