PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA December 28, 2025 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has emphasised that the successes of the MADANI Government today are the result of stable policies, courage in implementing reforms, and the solid trust of the Malaysian people.
In a post on the social media platform X on Sunday, Anwar Ibrahim stressed that the government’s achievements are not merely numbers and statistics, but are translated into real benefits for the people, including family well-being, new economic opportunities, and assurances of a more resilient future.
He stated that the national economy continues to be strengthened through quality investments, job creation, and an inclusive growth agenda. On the international stage, the government’s relations with various countries and global leaders have opened up spaces for strategic investments, while enhancing Malaysia’s position in the eyes of the world.
“With the solid support of family, friends, and the people of Malaysia, I believe the MADANI Government will continue to move forward, serving with integrity, and building a nation that is just, prosperous, and competitive for all,” Anwar said in the post.
Malaysia’s economic achievements throughout 2025 support the Prime Minister’s statement. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth recorded 5.2% in the third quarter of this year, placing the country on track to achieve growth at the higher end of the 4.0% to 4.8% target range. Approved investments in the first half of 2025 rose 18.7% to RM190.3 billion, expected to create over 89,000 new job opportunities.
The MADANI Government also remains committed to strengthening international relations, including cooperation with major powers such as China and the United States, as well as leveraging Malaysia’s role as ASEAN Chair in 2025 to attract more strategic investments in high-tech sectors like semiconductors and data centres.
Anwar’s post has received positive responses, reflecting the people’s confidence in the government’s direction towards building a more prosperous and competitive Malaysia.
