The event, attended by Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Fadillah Yusof, was a vibrant showcase of Sarawak’s rich cultural tapestry, with traditional melodies and colorful performances underscoring the state’s deep-rooted harmony. “Every moment reminded me of the pride we carry as Sarawakians,” Fadillah said, emphasizing the state’s unique ability to foster unity across diverse backgrounds, races, and religions.

Fadillah lauded Sarawak’s leadership, particularly Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, for driving transformative initiatives in digital innovation, education, and public welfare. “Our forward-thinking policies and stable governance have not only elevated Sarawak but also inspired others,” he noted, citing the state’s growing reputation as a model for national and international leaders.

The event also highlighted Sarawak’s rising global prominence. Recent regional discussions revealed keen interest from investors in Osaka, Japan, and Norway’s Foreign Minister, who identified Sarawak as a prime investment destination in Malaysia. “These are clear signs of Sarawak’s bright and promising future,” Fadillah remarked.

However, he stressed that sustained success hinges on unity, robust public support, and political stability. “Sarawak’s achievements are a testament to the unwavering commitment of its people,” he said, urging continued collaboration to ensure a prosperous future.

Fadillah called on Sarawakians to preserve their cultural heritage and pass down the spirit of unity to future generations. “Our cultural uniqueness is our strength,” he said, expressing gratitude to all attendees and organizers for their steadfast support.

With strong leadership and a united populace, Fadillah declared, “Sarawak is poised to stride confidently toward a progressive, prosperous 2030.”
