Malaysia, 13 July 2025 – The Northeast District Education Office hosted a heartfelt 2025 Outstanding Service Appreciation Ceremony yesterday, celebrating the dedication of educators who have shaped the nation’s future. Deputy Finance Minister and Tanjong MP Lim Hui Ying graced the event, commending the tireless efforts of teachers in nurturing young minds.

As part of her commitment as Tanjong MP, Lim announced the approval of RM242,000 in 2025 under the Tanjong Parliamentary People-Friendly Project to upgrade the Northeast District Education Office’s meeting room, a key component of the initiative. Additionally, she allocated RM18,000 through the Ministry of Finance to support the appreciation ceremony, honouring the educators’ remarkable service.
Lim emphasized the critical role of teachers in building a robust, progressive, and inclusive education system, aligning with the Malaysia MADANI vision. “Your dedication lays the foundation for a brighter future,” she said, urging educators to continue inspiring future generations.
