The concept of social enterprises remains unfamiliar in Malaysia, where economic activities are typically profit-driven or managed by non-governmental organizations reliant on public donations and government grants. Rafizi proposes a hybrid model where social enterprises operate as self-sustaining businesses, addressing societal needs while building financial resilience.

Ayuh Malaysia will serve as a one-stop platform with four key functions:

  1. Encouraging public-driven social enterprises across various fields.
  2. Providing expertise and support through a network of social enterprises and citizens.
  3. Arranging additional funding and financial oversight to ensure competitiveness and integrity.
  4. Connecting social enterprises with targeted beneficiary groups.

Detailed plans are currently under development and will be unveiled during the launch event on July 27, 2025. Rafizi has called on activists and ordinary citizens to collaborate in building this network, emphasizing its potential to ensure long-term economic and social welfare for Malaysians.
