As part of his usual practice during overseas working visits, Dato’ Sri Fadillah took the opportunity to engage with the Malaysian diaspora, sharing updates on developments in Malaysia and listening to the aspirations and heartfelt sentiments of Malaysians abroad. Last night, he discussed the nation’s energy transition and water transformation policies, alongside updates on Malaysia’s economic and political landscape.

“I am immensely proud of the achievements of Malaysians wherever they may be, bringing pride to Malaysia on the global stage. There are many success stories—some widely known, others quietly achieving excellence through their expertise,” he said.

He expressed hope that Malaysians in South Korea will continue to serve as a bridge in strengthening bilateral ties between Malaysia and the Republic of Korea.

Dato’ Sri Fadillah also extended his highest appreciation and gratitude to the Malaysian Embassy in Seoul, particularly to the Malaysian Ambassador, His Excellency Dato’ Mohd Zamruni Khalid, for organizing the event.
