ANKARA, TURKEY January 7, 2026 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim wasted no time upon his arrival in Ankara, immediately attending the Majlis Sentuhan Kasih MADANI — a heartfelt outreach session — with members of the Malaysian diaspora in the Republic of Türkiye.
The gathering provided a key platform for the Prime Minister to update the community on the MADANI Government’s priorities. He highlighted the administration’s focused approach to economic management, rooted in integrity, transparency, and a strong emphasis on serving the people’s interests.
“Sustainable economic strength enables the government to deliver direct benefits to the rakyat and provide ongoing support through relevant agencies,” Anwar stated, according to his official post on X.
He also stressed the importance of preparing Malaysians for rapid technological advancements, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI). “The people must be empowered with the skills to navigate these changes, allowing them to contribute meaningfully to national progress,” he added.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment, Anwar said the MADANI administration would continue working to ensure prosperity is shared equitably, building a more competitive, inclusive, and humane Malaysia.
The event featured warm interactions and group photographs, capturing the Prime Minister surrounded by diaspora members in formal attire at an elegant venue. One widely shared image shows a large group posing together under ornate chandeliers, reflecting the strong connection between the government and Malaysians abroad.
