The measures, described as proactive and people-centric, reflect the government’s commitment to public welfare and responsiveness to current demands.

The initiatives include:

1. A one-off RM100 Rahmah Basic Contribution (SARA) for all Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above.
2. An additional public holiday on September 15, 2025, in celebration of Malaysia Day.
3. Expansion of the Rahmah MADANI Sales program with an allocation of RM600 million.
4. Expansion of the RM1000 Rahmah Sales program with an allocation of RM1 billion.
5. A reduction in RON95 fuel price to RM1.99 per liter starting late September.

MBM praised the initiatives as a reflection of the Prime Minister’s sensitivity to public needs, aligning national policies with a people-friendly approach. The council expressed confidence that these measures will enhance the MADANI framework, particularly as 2025 draws to a close, adding value to existing programs and prioritizing youth as a strategic national asset.

While applauding the government’s efforts, MBM urged continued focus on sustaining economic progress to maintain a robust economic ecosystem and enable more citizen-friendly initiatives. The council reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the government to refine policies rooted in public welfare, ensuring effective, transparent, and grassroots-driven implementation.

Mohd Syafiq Ridzwan Jamaludin, MBM’s Head of Information, emphasized the council’s motto, “Youth Acting for Truth & Justice,” underscoring its dedication to supporting equitable and just policies.
