MALAYSIA, BAGAN DATUK – Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi expressed his excitement at addressing a vibrant group of Bagan Datuk youths, describing the experience as a refreshing departure from tradition. Surrounded by enthusiastic young talents, he praised their creativity and drive for innovative approaches.

Speaking at an event organized by Yayasan Pelajaran MARA (YPM), Ahmad Zahid emphasized equal opportunities for all Bagan Datuk youth, regardless of background.
“Those excelling academically will be supported to pursue university education, while those with technical talents will be guided toward TVET pathways, which are increasingly recognized and promise bright futures,” he said.
A total of 106 outstanding SPM students and five STAM students from Bagan Datuk received educational incentives from YPM, a crucial step to propel them toward universities, polytechnics, or TVET programs.
Ahmad Zahid expressed confidence that these students would inspire their peers and future generations.
He also commended the organizers and participating higher learning institutions for their strong turnout, underscoring the power of grassroots collaboration in raising awareness about the importance of education.
Urging the youth to seize these opportunities, Ahmad Zahid encouraged them to excel in their chosen paths.
“Prove that you can be number one in academics, character, and your future. Insya-Allah,” he said.
The event highlighted the collective commitment to empowering Bagan Datuk’s youth, paving the way for a brighter, more inclusive future.
