PUTRAJAYA, February 19, 2026 – Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dato’ Sri Hj. Mohd Khalid Hj. Ismail attended the Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s meeting with staff of the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) and the Ihya’ Ramadan programme at the Auditorium, Kompleks Setia Perkasa, here this morning.
The event, also attended by Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Shamsul Anuar Nasarah, served as a platform to strengthen the spirit of unity, engage with ministry staff, and convey the mandate of the nation’s top leadership in driving the reform agenda, strengthening national security, and empowering MADANI values in the public service.
In his speech, the Prime Minister called on all civil servants to continue strengthening self-discipline and to fully utilise the blessings of Ramadan to enhance their capabilities across various fields.
He also emphasised the importance of embracing noble values, building good character, and making continuous efforts to improve performance in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to them.
“Appreciating noble values, forming good morals, and sustained efforts to enhance performance are extremely important in fulfilling the trust placed upon us,” he stressed.
Earlier, Dato’ Sri Hj. Mohd Khalid and all attendees participated in a Ramadan tazkirah titled “Madrasah Islah” delivered by the Mufti of the Federal Territories Kuala Lumpur, Sahibus Samahah Tuan Hj. Ahmad Fauwaz Ali @ Fadzil.
The tazkirah touched on the strength of the mind in enduring hunger and the importance of effective time management throughout the month of Ramadan.
Also present were Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri bin Abu Bakar; Treasury Secretary-General of the Ministry of Finance Datuk Johan Mahmood Merican; KDN Secretary-General Datuk Dr. Awang Alik Jeman; the line-up of Deputy Secretaries-General of KDN; Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay; as well as the directors and deputy directors of the Royal Malaysia Police.
