PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia July 14, 2025 — Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail today held an engagement session with the Enforcement and Control Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN), underscoring its critical role as the frontline in ensuring compliance with national laws.
The division is tasked with enforcing regulations related to illegal substances and controlling publications that could disrupt public order and societal morals.
During the session, Saifuddin inspected items seized in recent operations, including smuggled sex toys, pornographic books, and banned reading materials deemed contrary to Malaysia’s values, laws, and societal norms.
The Home Minister reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the division, not only by enhancing manpower and operational capabilities but also by modernizing legislation to meet contemporary demands more effectively.
