KULIM, KEDAH, MALAYSIA March 7, 2026 – Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail yesterday expressed gratitude and reaffirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) to national security following a meaningful iftar event hosted in Kulim, Kedah.
In a post on his official social media, Datuk Seri Saifuddin shared that he had the opportunity to break fast together with uniformed personnel at the Majlis Berbuka Puasa Madani 2026, hosted by KDN at Kem Batalion Kedua Pasukan Gerakan Am (PGA), Kulim. The event was graced by Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.
Students from MRSM PDRM, located within the PGA camp, also joined the gathering, adding to the sense of community and unity during the holy month of Ramadan.
Earlier in the day, Saifuddin, together with the Prime Minister and Menteri Besar, visited and interacted with visitors and traders at the Bazar Ramadan Taman Selasih in Kulim. The Prime Minister spent time engaging with the community, highlighting the government’s close ties with the people during Ramadan.
Saifuddin highlighted the dedication of KDN’s security forces in fulfilling the mandate given by the Prime Minister to enhance enforcement and maintain national safety. He noted that under his leadership, enforcement operations have not only strengthened security but also contributed to national revenue.
He expressed deep appreciation for Anwar’s concern for the welfare of KDN enforcement personnel, describing it as a boost to morale and motivation.
“Insya-Allah, our commitment to safeguarding the nation’s security remains firm and consistent!” he concluded.
The event underscores the Madani government’s emphasis on unity, welfare for frontline personnel, and community engagement during Ramadan 1447H/2026M.
