KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, July 30 2025 – Inspector-General of Police, Dato’ Sri Hj. Mohd Khalid Hj. Ismail, joined by senior leadership of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), attended a Yasin recitation, tahlil, and doa selamat ceremony held at Masjid Negara this evening in conjunction with Hari Pahlawan 2025.

The event commenced around 5:30 PM yesterday with the arrival of His Majesty, Sultan Ibrahim, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. Her Majesty, Raja Zarith Sofiah, the Raja Permaisuri Agong, also graced the occasion.

Prior to the ceremony, attendees performed the Asar prayer led by the Grand Imam of Masjid Negara, Tuan Hj. Ehsan Mohd Hosni.

The ceremony is a key highlight of the annual Hari Pahlawan celebration, aimed at honoring the sacrifices of security personnel and expressing gratitude for the nation’s peace and stability.
Also in attendance were Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife, Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, Dato’ Sri Hj. Fadillah Hj. Yusof, Cabinet Ministers, heads of security agencies, and PERKEP Chairperson, Datin Sri Hjh. Munirah Che Rose.
