KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA February 10, 2026 – Datuk Seri Noridah binti Abdul Rahim has been officially appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Integrity Institute (IIM), effective 9 February 2026. The appointment has been widely announced by the institute and welcomed with congratulations from various parties, including the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), Hannah Yeoh.
In her social media post, Hannah Yeoh described Datuk Seri Noridah as an “outstanding” individual from the very first day she assumed leadership at the Federal Territories Department (JWP). “We were moving at speed and she ran alongside me, giving full support to the reforms we wanted to implement,” she wrote.
Hannah Yeoh highlighted Datuk Seri Noridah’s efficiency in executing directives swiftly — often returning with complete implementation details within two days of a meeting, or proactively submitting execution reports. She also praised her honesty, empathetic leadership, and strong support in the fight against corruption.
“The executive side can only move as far as the civil service is willing, able, and ready for the task. DS Noridah fitted all three criteria like a glove,” said Hannah Yeoh. Although saddened to see her leave JWP, the appointment to IIM is regarded as a well-deserved recognition, as the position requires a person of exceptional quality and unwavering commitment to integrity.
The appointment marks a significant transition for IIM, an institution established in 2004 to promote a culture of integrity through education, advocacy, training, research, and strategic collaboration at the national level. IIM staff have warmly welcomed her new leadership and pledged full cooperation to advance the agenda of strengthening integrity and good governance in the country.
Prior to this role, Datuk Seri Noridah left a profound impact at JWP, where various subordinate agencies — such as the Federal Territories Land and Mines Office (PPTG WP) and the Kampung Bharu Development Corporation — also expressed appreciation for her dedication and leadership in development and the well-being of the Federal Territories.
Congratulations once again to Datuk Seri Noridah on this prestigious appointment. May her leadership, rooted in the values of integrity, continue to bring significant benefits to the civil service and Malaysian society as a whole.
