MALAYSIA, PUNCAK ALAM, June 19, 2025 – Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh attended the fourth installment of the 2025 Rakan Muda Turun Kampus program today at DK 500, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Selangor, Puncak Alam Campus.
The initiative, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), provides a platform for higher education students to directly share their aspirations, views, and ideas on youth and sports development with top ministry leadership.
The program aligns with the Malaysia MADANI framework, emphasizing trust and compassion by prioritizing youth voices, addressing their needs, and fostering their contributions to national development. Its key objectives include delivering updates on government policies and initiatives related to youth and sports, amplifying student perspectives on relevant issues, and promoting the Rakan Demokrasi lifestyle among public and private university students.
This year, KBS plans to hold 10 Rakan Muda Turun Kampus sessions, engaging approximately 5,000 students nationwide.
The events feature interactive activities led by the Rakan Muda Development Division under the National Youth and Sports Department (JBSN). These efforts aim to strengthen student identity and unity, foster cross-institutional collaboration, and gather direct input to shape KBS’s youth empowerment strategies.
The event was also attended by YBrs. Professor Dr. Ahmad Taufek Abdul Rahman, Rector and Management of UiTM Selangor.
