Kuala Lumpur, 23 June 2025 – Glomac Berhad, an award-winning property developer with a strong portfolio of developments across Greater Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Johor, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dato’ Setia Haji Haris Bin Kasim as its new Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 20 June 2025.
Dato’ Setia Haji Haris brings a wealth of multidisciplinary experience in senior corporate leadership, spanning both public service and government administration, with over 40 years of experience. He has held numerous key positions within Selangor State Government-linked Companies (GLCs), including serving on the Boards of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS), Air Selangor, and Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI).
Dato’ Setia Haji Haris has substantial corporate expertise, having held various strategic leadership positions as Chairman of several key entities. These include Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor (KPS), Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB), Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Berhad (KHSB), Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd, Selgate Hospital Rawang, and Worldwide Entech Sdn Bhd. He last served as the State Secretary of the State of Selangor from 2021 to January 2025.
