FWD Insurance Berhad and Bank Simpanan Nasional launch Qaseh Setia: An inclusive insurance Solution for all Malaysians, with a focus on B40 communities.

Kuala Lumpur, 21 August 2025: Life is full of uncertainties, which often leads to financial anxieties. Keeping this in mind, FWD Insurance Berhad (“FWD Insurance”) and its longstanding bancassurance partner, Bank Simpanan Nasional (“BSN”), have launched Qaseh Setia, an affordable microinsurance plan designed to provide financial support to all Malaysians, particularly those in the B40 income group. Since its launch in April 2025, Qaseh Setia has already extended coverage to over 20,000 lives to date, reflecting strong demand and trust in the product.

For as little as RM0.20 a day, Qaseh Setia offers substantial financial protection. It includes essential coverage for accidental death (up to RM90,000), and for both non-accidental death and total and permanent disability, it covers up to RM15,000. Recognising the financial strain that can follow the loss of a loved one, Qaseh Setia also provides up to RM3,000 to assist with funeral expenses, highlighting FWD Insurance and BSN’s shared commitment to social responsibility and financial inclusion.

Qaseh Setia is designed for easy accessibility, as no medical check-up is required during enrolment. This removes a significant barrier, especially for those in the B40 income group, making it simpler for them.

As part of its 2025 FWD Fiesta Campaign, FWD Insurance will also host a roadshow from 21 – 24 August 2025 at Mytown Shopping Centre – an initiative aimed at connecting with the public and promoting the importance of financial planning. The roadshow offers attendees the chance to explore financial solutions, such as Qaseh Setia and Qaseh Bakti Plus, at dedicated booths, and access complimentary health checks. Beyond providing information, the FWD Fiesta fosters community engagement through fun activities, such as a sand art station for children. Participants also have a chance to win exciting prizes, including the grand prize: a brand-new Proton X50!

Through accessible information and engaging experiences, the roadshow showcases FWD’s vision of ‘Changing the way people feel about insurance’, making it relatable and approachable for everyone.
