The Malaysian Youth Council (MYC) strongly condemns the inhumane and illegal actions of the Zionist Israeli regime in detaining humanitarian activists from the Global Freedom Flotilla mission, who were en route to deliver essential aid to Gaza, Palestine.

This detention is a blatant violation of international law, especially the right to safe passage in international waters and the principle of protecting humanitarian missions which should be upheld and respected by all parties.
The detention of Global Freedom Flotilla activists is unlawful and must be ended immediately. These individuals were part of a peaceful humanitarian mission aimed at aiding the oppressed people of Palestine who have long been subjected to atrocities and denied their basic human rights.
MYC calls upon all the international community, international youth organisations, youth councils, and networks worldwide especially the United Nations (UN) and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to take a united stand against this unlawful and illegal act. The Youth must raise their voices to condemn this attack and defend the principles of justice, solidarity, and peace. The detainees must be released unconditionally, and their safety must be guaranteed.
The Government of Malaysia must continue to take a firm stance and play an active diplomatic role through international platforms to demand the release of the humanitarian activists and to strongly condemn the continued aggression and oppression against the Palestinian people.
MYC also urges all Malaysians to continue showing solidarity and unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and for all humanitarian workers who risk their lives in pursuit of justice and global human rights.
MYC emphasises that the fight for Palestine is not merely a religious issue, it is a universal humanitarian struggle that requires the attention and action of all just and peace-loving citizens of the world.

STOP THE ATROCITIES AGAINST THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE!
