KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA February 23, 2026 – Communications Minister and Lembah Pantai MP Dato’ Fahmi Fadzil took time out yesterday afternoon to join the Astro Audio team in the ‘Kami Care Bubur Lambuk @ Lembah Pantai’ programme at the bustling Jalan Telawi Ramadan Bazaar in Bangsar.
Accompanied by Astro Audio personnel and presenters, the minister personally helped distribute 200 packs of traditional bubur lambuk to visitors, traders and residents, spreading the spirit of sharing and community during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Fahmi shared his experience:
“Bersama pasukan Astro Audio petang tadi dalam program Kami Care Bubur Lambuk @ Lembah Pantai di Bazar Ramadan Bangsar.
Seronok turun padang, jumpa warga Lembah Pantai dan sama-sama berkongsi rezeki.
Terima kasih Astro Audio kerana memilih Lembah Pantai sebagai lokasi pertama program ini!
Semoga usaha kecil ini membawa senyuman dan keberkatan buat semua.”
(Translation: Together with the Astro Audio team this afternoon for the Kami Care Bubur Lambuk programme at Lembah Pantai in Bangsar Ramadan Bazaar. It was enjoyable going down to the ground, meeting Lembah Pantai residents and sharing sustenance together. Thank you Astro Audio for choosing Lembah Pantai as the first location for this programme! May this small effort bring smiles and blessings to everyone.)
Fahmi described the atmosphere as relaxed and noted the encouraging turnout even on a working day. He told media after the session: “Today we mingled with the public and distributed bubur lambuk to those visiting the bazaar. The atmosphere was very relaxed and I observed a strong turnout.”
The initiative marks the first stop for Astro Audio’s annual bubur lambuk giveaway, aimed at fostering Ramadan camaraderie in the community.

In a follow-up post, the minister also reminded followers: “Jangan lupa bayar zakat, guys!” (Don’t forget to pay zakat, guys!)
The event highlights ongoing efforts by public figures and media organisations to connect directly with the rakyat during Ramadan, strengthening bonds within the Lembah Pantai community.
This positive community outreach comes as Fahmi also touched on broader media matters, stressing the need for mainstream broadcasters to engage Gen Z with fresh, ethical content and welcoming the appointment of Ashwad Ismail as the new RTM director-general.
Life News Agency salutes this heartwarming initiative that brings smiles and blessings to many during the blessed month. 🌙🍲
