SEGAMAT, 6 July 2025 – Datuk Seri Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) and Sekijang Member of Parliament, has called on Johor’s People’s Justice Party (PKR) branch leaders to unite and prepare for the upcoming general election, emphasizing Johor’s strategic importance.
In a posting on X, Dr. Zaliha invited all Johor PKR branch chiefs to a meeting in Sekijang to directly engage with grassroots leaders.
“This gathering is a vital platform for me to hear firsthand the challenges, views, and aspirations of our party’s grassroots leadership,” she said. The discussions focused on addressing current public issues and aligning with the MADANI Government’s policies transparently.
Dr. Zaliha stressed the need for unity and readiness within the party, urging full support for Johor’s new State Leadership Council (MPN) leadership. She emphasized integrating both new and veteran leaders to ensure inclusivity, stating, “The old and new must come together seamlessly, leaving no one feeling sidelined.”
Expressing gratitude to the branch chiefs for their honest and bold input, Dr. Zaliha reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening PKR’s foundation in Johor as the party gears up for the next election.
