Deputy IGP Stresses Unity, Security at Cyberjaya Knowledge Forum

CYBERJAYA, Malatsia, Sept 26, 2025 – Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Deputy IGP), DIG Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, delivered an inspiring address at the “Bicara Ilmu: Rakyat Bersatu, Negara Maju” event held at Masjid Cyberjaya 10 last night.

Arriving at approximately 7:00 PM, Tan Sri Ayob Khan was warmly welcomed by Selangor Deputy Police Chief, DCP Mohd Zaini Abu Hassan, and Southern Zone Baitulmal Head of the Selangor Islamic Religious Council, Ustaz Muhammad Hilmi Jamaluddin, before joining congregational Maghrib prayers.

In his speech, Tan Sri Ayob Khan expressed gratitude for Malaysia’s independence, peace, and prosperity, crediting the sacrifices of past leaders. He emphasized the importance of embracing the Rukun Negara, particularly the principles of courtesy and morality, and integrating Islamic values such as siddiq (truthfulness), amanah (trustworthiness), tabligh (conveying truth), and fathonah (wisdom) to foster a harmonious society.

Highlighting key challenges faced by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), he noted that human rights issues, cybercrime, corruption, deviant teachings, and extremism are among the primary threats to national security. The PDRM remains steadfast in upholding the law and addressing these threats decisively to ensure public safety and well-being.

The event was attended by Cyberjaya 10 Mosque Manager, Ustaz Hafizul Hakimi Harun, Sepang District Police Chief, ACP Norhizam Bahaman, PDRM officers, and members of the Cyberjaya 10 Mosque Management Committee.
