KUALA LANGAT, SELANGOR, MALAYSIA February 21, 2026 – Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Deputy IGP), DIG Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, representing the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), IG Dato’ Sri Hj. Mohd Khalid Hj. Ismail, joined the Sahur Visit programme with the Minister of Home Affairs (MHA), Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, held at the Kuala Langat District Police Headquarters (IPD) early this morning.
The presence of the top leadership from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) injected renewed spirit and higher dedication among police personnel who remain committed to performing their duties throughout Ramadan to ensure public safety and order are always preserved.
The programme began at IPD Putrajaya, where Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution was welcomed by the Kuala Lumpur Chief Police Officer, CP Dato’ Fadil Hj. Marsus, together with his deputy, DCP Dato’ Mohd Azani Omar, and the Putrajaya District Police Chief, ACP Aidi Sham Mohamed.
The entourage then visited several agencies under the Ministry of Home Affairs, including stopping by to show support for personnel manning roadblocks at Olak Lempit, Banting, as a gesture of appreciation for the frontliners’ continuous commitment in safeguarding public safety.
The event continued at IPD Kuala Langat with a friendly interaction session and the distribution of sahur meal packs to front-line personnel. The programme concluded with congregational Subuh prayer at the IPD Kuala Langat surau.
Also present were the Deputy Secretary-General (Security) of MHA, Dato’ Hj. Abdul Halim Hj. Abdul Rahman, Secretary of the Security and Public Order Division of MHA, Datuk Zulkifli Abidin, Director of the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, CP Dato’ Sri Mohd Yusri Hj. Hassan Basri, Selangor Chief Police Officer, CP Dato’ Pahlawan Shazeli Dato’ Kahar, Deputy Chief Police Officer of Selangor, DCP Mohd Zaini Abu Hassan, Kuala Langat District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi, as well as senior officers from various agencies under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
