KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA March 10, 2026 – Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay attended a special iftar event and doa selamat recitation with students from Darul Kifayah and Pondok Moden Al-‘Abaqirah. The gathering took place at Dewan Al-Qaradhawi in the Darul Kifayah Complex, Taman Koperasi Polis Phase II, Batu Caves, on the evening of March 9.
The event, which drew over 200 guests, formed part of the Community Service Contribution Program sponsored by Yayasan Hasani. It aimed to strengthen bonds of brotherhood, foster community compassion, and bring joy to the students in anticipation of the upcoming Aidilfitri celebrations.
Proceedings commenced with a collective recitation of Surah Yasin followed by doa selamat. Tan Sri Ayob Khan then delivered an inspirational talk, offering advice and motivation to the young attendees. He also presented Hari Raya contributions as a gesture of support and empathy toward the students.
The program proceeded with the breaking of the fast, after which participants performed the Maghrib prayer and solat hajat in congregation. The evening concluded on a note of harmony and significance, highlighting the spirit of unity during Ramadan.
Notable attendees included Puan Farizah Kamaruddin, Senior Manager of the Human Development Division at the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP); Tuan Hj. Farook Hassan, Chairman of Yayasan Hasani; and Encik Mohd Hasnizan Hasin, Principal of Darul Kifayah MAIWP.
This initiative underscores ongoing efforts by law enforcement and community organizations to engage with youth and promote positive societal values during the holy month.
