PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA February 24, 2026 – Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay attended the MADANI Iftar Ceremony organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Wisma Putra here last night.
He represented the Inspector-General of Police at the event, which also featured the launch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Strategic Plan 2026–2030.
The strategic plan was officiated by the Prime Minister, accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Haji Hasan.
The plan focuses on strengthening Malaysia’s bilateral and multilateral diplomacy, enhancing the country’s proactive role in ASEAN, safeguarding maritime sovereignty, empowering public services and institutions, and reinforcing Malaysia’s commitments under the Chemical Weapons Convention.
Following the launch, the programme continued with iftar and congregational Maghrib prayer.
DIG Tan Sri Ayob Khan took the opportunity to mingle cordially with government leaders and honoured guests in an atmosphere filled with the spirit of ukhuwah (brotherhood) and appreciation of the noble values of the holy month of Ramadan.
Also present to grace the occasion were Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Lukanisman Awang Sauni, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Sri Amran Mohamad Zin, and senior officials from foreign diplomatic missions.
The gathering strengthened the MADANI spirit and fostered greater unity among the nation’s leadership during Ramadan.
