KUALA LUMPUR. Malaysia, August 2. 2025 – Deputy Inspector-General of Police, DIG Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, accompanied by his wife, Puan Sri Dato’ Zalena Ariffin, Vice-Chairman of the Police Family Association (PERKEP) Malaysia, visited a police officer injured in a stabbing incident while on duty at Pudu Market, Jalan Yew Pudu, on 31 July.

Corporal Mohd Nadzri Sudiman, stationed at Pudu Police Station under the Wangsa Maju District Police Headquarters, is now stable and receiving intensive care at the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, following surgery.
During the visit, Tan Sri Ayob Khan presented a contribution and expressed moral support to Corporal Mohd Nadzri and his family, demonstrating concern for the welfare of police personnel involved in incidents while on duty.
Also present were Deputy Director of Management (Administration) Bukit Aman, DCP Dato’ Ts. Azizee Ismail, Acting Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, DCP Dato’ Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad, accompanied by his wife, Datin Ain Robieah Shamsudin, Acting Chairman of PERKEP Kuala Lumpur Contingent, Wangsa Maju District Police Chief, ACP Mohamad Lazim Ismail, and Cheras District Police Chief, ACP Aidil Bolhassan.
