PUTRAJAYA. MALAYSIA February 19, 2026 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has expressed gratitude and great pride in the overall performance of the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN).
Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail shared the Prime Minister’s statement in a post today.
According to Saifuddin, Anwar delivered those meaningful and spirited words as his closing remarks to all KDN staff at the end of his address this morning.
“Alhamdulillah, I am grateful and very proud of KDN’s overall performance,” said Anwar, as shared by Saifuddin.
Saifuddin stressed that although KDN acknowledges there is still room for improvement, every criticism and encouragement from the Prime Minister serves as a catalyst for the ministry to further strengthen service delivery, streamline governance, and enhance its level of preparedness in carrying out its mandate to safeguard the nation’s security and public order.
“The confidence and recognition from the Prime Minister that KDN is on the right track gives a tremendous motivational boost to all KDN staff to continue working with greater commitment, integrity, and focus on the reform agenda and the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI,” he said.
Saifuddin also expressed confidence that KDN will continue to move forward, address all shortcomings, and ensure that its mandate and responsibilities are fulfilled to the best of its ability for the people and the nation.
“Insya-Allah,” he added.
The post reflects KDN’s ongoing commitment under Saifuddin’s leadership to continuously enhance public services in line with the government’s aspirations.
