PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA December 30, 2025 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed gratitude for the strong and sincere cooperation within the Madani Unity Government, emphasising that it remains free from elements of sabotage or betrayal, in stark contrast to internal crises plaguing other political coalitions.
Speaking at a press conference in Putrajaya. Malaysia on 30 December, Anwar highlighted the growing unity among coalition partners, stating: “I am grateful because the consensus in the Madani Unity Government is stronger, more genuine, and there are no elements of sabotage or betrayal as faced by other friends.”
His remarks appear to reference ongoing leadership upheavals and internal conflicts within the opposition Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition, which has seen recent resignations and power struggles.
Anwar described the situation in his government as markedly different, noting that the absence of internal disruptions has allowed focused efforts on national development and governance under the Malaysia MADANI framework.
“The situation is different from what is currently affecting several other political alliances, which are facing internal turmoil and leadership crises,” he added, as reported by official sources.

Anwar concluded by reinforcing the importance of political stability for national progress, aligning with his administration’s emphasis on unity and inclusive governance.
