PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA Oct 19, 2025 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim seized the occasion of Deepavali celebrations to urge Malaysians to continue fostering a spirit of mutual respect and strengthening understanding among the nation’s diverse cultures and faiths.
In his official Deepavali message, Anwar depicted the arrival of the Festival of Lights as a symbol of joy that carries the spirit of light triumphing over darkness, goodness prevailing over evil, and the power of knowledge overcoming ignorance.
