PUTRAJAYA, June 30, 2025 — During the monthly gathering with Prime Minister’s Department staff, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim revisited the historic Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad SAW from Mecca to Medina, a momentous event rich with wisdom and lessons.
Anwar described the Hijrah as more than a physical migration, embodying unwavering faith, exemplary character, wisdom, trust, and deep loyalty. These values, he noted, laid the foundation for an inclusive and harmonious society built on faith and pure principles.

The Prime Minister also referenced the late renowned thinker Ismail Al-Faruqi, who stressed that a society’s success hinges on wise planning in development and strengthening its social structure.
Anwar emphasized the critical need to deeply understand the nation’s constitutional, administrative, and judicial systems. He urged reliance on accurate facts and precise understanding to prevent misunderstandings that could threaten national stability and social harmony.
