ALOR SETAR, KEDAH, Malaysia August 9 2025 – Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail attended the Lantunan Mahabbah Ceremony marking the closing of the 2025 National KPM Ihtifal Lughawi Festival in Kedah today, following the completion of his program in Kelantan.
The event brought together 480 primary and secondary school students from across Malaysia, serving not only as a platform for Arabic language competitions but also as a vital avenue for shaping a generation that is knowledgeable, well-mannered, and strong in character.
In his speech, Saifuddin shared his personal experience of participating in a speech competition during Form Three, recalling his teacher’s advice to limit a one-hour speech to three to five key points to ensure clarity and avoid overwhelming the audience.
He urged the students to seize this opportunity to hone their public speaking skills, cultivate a noble spirit, and uphold values of etiquette to drive positive change in society and the nation.
The Minister expressed hope that the Ihtifal Lughawi Festival would continue to serve as a platform for nurturing talent, reinforcing noble values, and producing high-quality future leaders.
