KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, July 25, 2025 – The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has called on participants of public assemblies to remain mindful of existing laws and to work together to maintain peace and safety in surrounding areas. The police expressed hope that all voices can be expressed in an atmosphere of mutual respect, grounded in the values of courtesy and Malaysian societal norms.

For the general public not directly involved in the assemblies, PDRM advises planning journeys in advance and checking real-time traffic updates to avoid delays. Traffic flow is expected to experience minor changes during the events.
In upholding its duty to safeguard national security, PDRM assures the public that safety will remain a priority while respecting citizens’ rights to freedom. The police believe a balance between democratic rights and law enforcement can be achieved through close cooperation and shared responsibility.
PDRM also expressed gratitude for the public’s trust and urged all parties to act responsibly and maturely. “Let us ensure that the democratic space is used positively to maintain harmony and the well-being of society as a whole,” the statement read.
