Describing the situation as a “test of our shared humanity,” Anwar demanded an immediate end to the killings and indiscriminate bombings, emphasizing the need for unhindered humanitarian aid to reach those in desperate need. He specifically called on U.S. President Donald Trump and other influential leaders to leverage their authority to halt the violence and uphold international law.

“This appalling disregard for human life and dignity must end,” Anwar declared, stressing that the crisis is a violation of fundamental moral principles. He urged nations worldwide to unite in condemning the atrocities and to act decisively to restore peace and dignity in Gaza.

Malaysia pledged its commitment to collaborate with all nations—regardless of geopolitical divides—to provide relief and champion the principles of humanity. “Let us not be remembered as those who stood by,” Anwar said, calling for compassion and moral leadership to guide the global response.

The statement comes as the world grapples with the worsening crisis in Gaza, prompting renewed calls for accountability and action on the international stage.
