KUALA LUMPUR October 2, 2026 — Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) will broadcast the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026 live so the excitement of the race can be shared nationwide, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said in a statement on his official X account today.
“Berita gembira buat seluruh rakyat Malaysia! RTM akan menyiarkan Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix di Malaysia 2026 secara langsung agar kemeriahan perlumbaan ini dapat dinikmati bersama,” he wrote.
Anwar said he hoped the live broadcast would give Malaysians across the country the chance to share in the occasion.
“Saya berharap siaran langsung ini memberi peluang kepada rakyat di seluruh pelosok,” he said.
The remarks form part of MADANI Government outreach on access to major sporting events. Anwar’s post was accompanied by a photograph on X.
