VIENTIANE, Laos, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Global cybersecurity company Kaspersky and Best Telecom have expanded their strategic cooperation in Lao People’s Democratic Republic (PDR) through two agreements, including with Best Telecom’s affiliated business, Sysmatik, one of Laos’ leading Information Technology firms. The agreements were signed during the visit of Kaspersky founder and CEO, Eugene Kaspersky, to Laos and aim to strengthen digital security across the country’s telecommunications and financial-services sectors, making trusted cybersecurity protection more accessible to consumers.
During the visit, Eugene Kaspersky met with Dr. Rithikone Phoummasack, CEO of Best Telecom, for a handshake session and signing ceremony to mark the expanded cooperation. The two agreements bring Kaspersky’s cybersecurity technologies and solutions into two key areas of Best Telecom and its affiliated business ecosystem: telecommunications through Best Telecom and other business services through Sysmatik.
Under the agreement with Best Telecom, eligible customers can access Kaspersky’s consumer cybersecurity solutions, including Kaspersky Standard, Kaspersky Premium and Kaspersky Safe Kids, through a bundled service model. The partnership enables Best Telecom to extend its proposition beyond connectivity by providing customers with convenient access to trusted digital protection as part of the services they already use.
Separately, Kaspersky and Sysmatik have signed an MoU focused on the rollout of the Kaspersky Mobile Security SDK for Android and iOS. The technology is designed to provide malware and phishing protection, helping strengthen mobile security and digital trust for Best Telecom affiliates operating financial services digital ecosystems.
The agreements signed form part of the broader strategic relationship between Kaspersky and Best Telecom.
