KAJANG May 25, 2026 – Two local hardened criminals suspected of involvement in several robbery cases around the Klang Valley were killed in a shootout with officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ) Bukit Aman last night.
According to a media statement issued by the Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), CP Datuk M. Kumar A/L S. Muthuvelu, the incident occurred on 25 May 2026 at approximately 9:10 p.m. (2110 hrs) at Jalan Persiaran Seri Putra 2, Bandar Seri Putera, Bangi Lama, Kajang, Selangor.
“PDRM confirms that a shootout took place between the Criminal Investigation Department Bukit Aman and two local hardened criminals at the location,” he said in the statement released at 11:35 p.m.
Items recovered from the scene include one revolver with several rounds of live ammunition and spent casings, four parangs (machetes), housebreaking tools, face masks and gloves.
PDRM will hold a press conference today (26 May 2026) to provide further details on the incident.
