KUALA LUMPUR, May 23, 2026 — Senior Political Advisor to Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, paid a heartfelt visit to the home of Pn. Rodiah Bte Bidin in Kampung Cheras Baru today, bringing aid and drawing attention to the struggles faced by vulnerable families.
During the visit, Tengku Zafrul personally handed over an aid envelope and essential supplies to Pn. Rodiah. He was visibly moved by the living conditions he witnessed — a modest, cluttered home showing signs of wear and damage — and by the personal life story shared by the family.
“I was truly touched by what I saw today,” Tengku Zafrul said. “Seeing the condition of her home and hearing her life story made me realise that there are still many out there who desperately need help but never voice their requests.”
He emphasised the importance of proactive community and governmental support under the Madani framework, particularly in the Pandan area where he serves as a PKR monitor.
The visit included moments of reflection, with Tengku Zafrul and accompanying officials viewing family portraits on the walls of the humble residence.
Photos from the visit also captured the challenging state of the living environment, underscoring the daily hardships endured by Pn. Rodiah and her family.
Tengku Zafrul called for collective action: “With the permission of Allah, we hope to do more — not just for Pn. Rodiah, but for every family that requires support to sustain their lives.”
He ended the post by asking the public to join in prayers for Pn. Rodiah and her family’s well-being.
The initiative reflects ongoing grassroots engagement by Madani government representatives to identify and assist silent sufferers in local communities.
Life News Agency will continue to monitor developments and further assistance efforts for families in need.
